Inn guests are welcome to enjoy designated walking paths around the Inn and Farm property.  The property is conveniently located approximately three miles from Shenandoah National Park's Skyline Drive, Thornton Gap entrance and ten miles to Old Rag.


The Schoolhouse Nine

Located next to Headmaster’s Pub, The Schoolhouse Nine is Rappahannock County’s first and only golf course. The unique design features nine challenging par-3 holes, ranging in length from 85-171 yards. The course meanders through a series of native wildflower meadows bordered by the Thornton River and the historic ruins of the original Smoot Tannery.

Luray Caverns Country Club

Nestled in the shadows of the Blue Ridge Mountains overlooking the fabled Shenandoah River, this unique golf setting creates one of the most scenic opportunities in the Mid-Atlantic region.
